Martial Arts

Little Phoenix (3-6 years old)

The Little Phoenix program is designed to begin teaching the extreme basics of our curriculum with emphasis on self-control, following instruction, and basic foot, hand, and eye coordination. Belt level advancement requirements are divided into age-equivalent learning blocks to assist the children in retaining the primary course material. Class sessions are approximately 30 minutes long and available 5 days a week.

Primary course material White, White/Yellow stripe, Yellow, and Orange belts:

  • Basic blocking techniques
  • Basic kicking techniques
  • Basic footwork
  • Basic combination movements
  • Belt level form (pattern of movements for each belt level)

Primary course material Green belt through 3rd Degree Red belt:

  • Basic and Advanced blocking techniques
  • Basic and Advanced kicking techniques
  • Basic and Advanced footwork
  • Basic and Advanced combination movements
  • Belt level form (pattern of movements for each belt level)

Kids (7-13 years old)

The Kids program is designed to teach the basics of our curriculum with emphasis on learning foot, hand, and eye coordination, as well as beginning to understand situational awareness with the techniques they are learning. More emphasis is place on our core values as the children have a better understanding of “right and wrong” at this age. Belt level advancement requirements are divided into age-equivalent learning blocks to assist the children in retaining the primary course material. Class sessions are approximately 60 minutes long and available 5 days a week.

Primary course material White, Yellow, and Orange belts:

Adults (13 years old and up)

The Adults program is designed to teach our curriculum in a manner that encourages personal growth and development. Although the students for any given class all do the same workout, each individual student is guided at his or her own pace. This program places more emphasis on both physical and mental conditioning. Class sessions are approximately 60 minutes long and available 5 days a week.
